Community Spirit and Support

Our commitment to the community
CCS is proud of its long-term commitment to Ronald McDonald House Southern Alberta, which provides a home away from home for Alberta’s seriously ill children receiving treatment at nearby hospitals. Through this partnership CCS gives back to local families and their community. This collaboration also aligns with CCS’ family pillar of giving. At CCS, we know that we have a responsibility to respect and contribute to the communities in which we operate. We are proud to demonstrate this commitment year after year by contributing to numerous organizations that benefit these communities.

CCS’ Corporate Giving Program provides charitable donations and sponsorships to non-profit organizations that provide important services at the local, provincial and national level. Applications are reviewed bi-monthly and are evaluated based on the following pillars:

  • Environment
  • Education
  • Safety
  • Family
  • Aboriginal

Environment:
As a leader in environmental stewardship, CCS believes in protecting our natural resources and ecosystems through conservation and long-term sustainability. We participate in and support sustainable environmental programs with long-term goals of creating a strong foundation for our future. Our partnerships and programs focus on sustainability and innovative technology that have a positive impact on the environment. This includes education, recycling and conservation programs.

Education:
CCS fosters an environment of life-long learning and continuous improvement. We believe that education is essential to the growth and well-being of our employees and communities. CCS supports organizations that encourage learning and growth through education and knowledge sharing.

Safety:
CCS maintains the highest standard of safety for its employees. We support programs and initiatives that ensure a safe and productive work environment through education, technology and innovation.

Family:
At CCS, our culture is based around family. The company’s success is attributed to its people and those people who support them. We believe in making a strong commitment to the communities in which we live and work. CCS is an active supporter of social assistance programs that provide independence and essential services that improve quality of life.

Aboriginal:
CCS is dedicated to working with Aboriginal people in the communities in which we operate. We value these relationships and want to continue to work with Aboriginal organizations on projects that relate to health, family, education and the environment.
